My Values are the
Foundation of My Candidacy:

I commit to honesty, fairness, and openness in all things in my role as a Councillor for Ward 1.

So often after decisions are made, conversations arise about how they come about.  I commit to processes that are transparent and questions answered.  Have a concern or question – feel free to call or email me with questions – or pop into the shop!

I am excited to contribute more to the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands. Municipal government is in place to serve its residents and electorate, and I am dedicated to ensuring that everyone - founding families, cottagers, and newcomers – has the programs they need, from children’s activities to senior living support, from infrastructure maintenance and expansion to strategic planning.   We need to work together with community members to identify needs and opportunities for revitalized and new initiatives – honouring history while planning for the future.

I believe that the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands must work together with County, Provincial and Federal governments to ensure the Township increases its vitality, sustainability and economic viability.  There have been a number of granting programs over the last few years that we could have accessed – from funding for Mainstreet revitalization to broadband infrastructure funding.   I will work with Township Council and staff to ensure we maximize relationships with all potential partners and enhance investment in our municipality. I will work to ensure we have an active and goal oriented Economic Development Committee.
